Experienced Integration Consultant

Join the ROCKWOOL Group and the HR IT Services Team in Group IT. You will be part of an international team with solid technical competencies and broad business acumen, working in an agile environment. The position is in ROCKWOOL Europe, and you may be based at one of our location in Poland (Cigacice), Russia (Moscow), Czech Republic (Bohumín) or Hungaria (Budapest).

Put your mark on the entire integration landscape
As integration Consultant, you will take full responsibility for the integration between a new core HR system (RockPeople/Workday) and all other existing internal and external systems. Because this is a new role in the Group, you will have ample opportunities to influence the integration landscape as well as continuously develop the discipline by establishing yourself as our integration specialist.

Lead the integration between a new HR system and existing systems
Initially, your main focus will be to define integration requirements between RockPeople and other systems as well as design, build and test integrations. You do so in close collaboration with system owners internally in IT and with the business to ensure that the integration process performs according to their needs.

Another part of your role is to continuously develop the integration discipline. Accordingly, you keep up to date with the development of integration platforms and give your input to improving to the integration landscape. Specifically, your tasks will include:
• Assist in creating integration best practices through principles and procedures
• Assist the establishment of an integration governance discipline
• Ensure the re-usability of deployed integrations
• Ensure basic integration quality in projects/developments
• Defining requirements and integrations
• Transforming large data sets and format them to various outputs using relevant tools
• Perform 2nd level support to deployed integrations

You will work both internationally and across the entire organisation which includes some travelling - approximately 20% of your time.

Technically well-founded integration specialist with business acumen
• You have 3+ years of integration experience paired with conversion or data integration related project experience
• Preferably you have knowledge of one or more integration platform tools
• You have solid experience with web services (SOAP and REST) as well as other integration protocols
• You have experience with XML, XSD, XSLT, and XPath
• Your English is at a high level

Your technical competencies to map and define specifications between systems are as important as your business acumen and insights into how solutions bring value to the business. Finally, you are a strong communicator and proactive in your problem solving and decision making.
