Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Receive, analyze, investigate and ensure payments are processed on time
• Follow up with global accounts payable to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner and for the correct amount
• Maintain relationship with assigned providers and validate that payments are credited
to the correct account
• Avoid disconnection notices due to non-payment by maintaining an accurate technical inventory
• Reconcile accounts with supplier, vendor manager, and Accounts Payable as needed
• Actively manage database of payments, vendor details, vendor issues, and invoices received
• Key the invoices received against specific application which is tracking the technical parameters together with the monthly charges
• Provide control reports
• Control the timely intervention and resolution of supplier questions in accordance with KPIs and SSC SLA
• Ensure adherence to the group accounting policies and, internal control guidelines and Business Process Blue Prints

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• University/College Degree in Economics, Accounting or equivalent
• 1-2+ years experience in an Accounts Payable / Treasury / Cash & Bank environment
Preferably 2 years work experience in an accounting/finance environment preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure
• Proficiency in oral and written English; other languages are beneficial
• Work experience in a Shared Service Centre / BPO environment welcomed
• Experience in reconciling accounts with vendors
• Professional experience in accounting field, such of AP, Cash & Bank
• Good communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and
external customers at all level
• Strong analytical capabilities
• Ability to multi-task, is resilient to pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to use sound judgement, discretion and professional integrity
• Understanding and application of Accounts Payable principles
• Demonstrate PC proficiency (MS Excel, Word, Power Point)
• Working knowledge of financial systems like Oracle, SUN or equivalent is a plus
