Job description, responsibilities and duties

As part of the global Human Resources Delivery organization Local HR Services DACH is responsible for a wide range of administrative Human Resources services for 21.600 employees in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We resolve employee and manager requests, consult them, and carry out operational HR administration across the employee life cycle (e. g. contractual changes, references, consultation for maternity and parental leave, support of the termination process).

The Local HR Services team works closely with all the pillars within the HR organization to resolve queries and requests.

Key responsibilities:
* Handle and take responsibility for processes and questions relating to personnel administration
* Compiling amendments and supplements to employment contracts
* Participating in projects
* Writing references
* Contact partner and provide administrative support for HR business partners, managers, and employees in all issues relating to labor law
* Work closely with other teams within the HR department, personnel officers, and different specialist departments within SAP
* Work with other team members sharing knowledge on topics that are either a current specialist topic or require learning

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

* Max 2 years of business experience in an administrative area
* Initial experience in human resources management
* Willingness to collect HR experience and develop in the area of general human resources
* Business or commercial apprenticeship and further training as an HR business clerk, or degree in business administration, specializing in human resources.
* Native speaker level in German
* Fluent written and spoken English language skills
* High standards of reliability and integrity
* Quality driven, accuracy, and attention to detail
* Ability to plan and organize work well on own initiative and without supervision, must be motivated and self-driven
* Pleasant, confident manner on the telephone and in person, and a distinctive customer orientation
* Ability to keep a clear head when things get hectic
* Enjoyment of working in a virtual team and interested in a range of different tasks
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products
* Knowledge of SAP® ERP application is an asset
