Job description, responsibilities and duties
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Within the BI&IT organization, the Enterprise Analytics team assumes SAP-wide ownership for management reporting and in this context drives SAP’s Business Intelligence strategy, promotes the actual usage of BI solutions in tight collaboration with the business, BI-, development- and IT teams. The Enterprise Analytics team is an execution-focused organization collaboratively working cross functions to ensure the adoption of best practices and enabling a scalable, world class analytics foundation fully leveraging technology innovations to provide global transparency out of one single source of truth reporting system. In addition the Enterprise Analytics function delivers pre-defined services with a clear customer focus best leveraging, economies of scale.
By enabling best in class reporting processes relying on one unified BI model with pre-defined standards, the team fosters a culture of fact-based decision-making and effectively drives the transformation towards managing analytics as an enterprise-wide asset according to SAP’s strategy and key business priorities.

It is your task to design and implement a scalable, world-class analytics & planning foundation collaboratively together with development and IT according to our transformation strategy and key business requirements.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
This role develops and provides systems, applications, products and services to optimize/automate business processes, improve work efficiency and provides the expert support in operations. Revises and updates existing programs and provides required documentation. Facilitates the service lifecycle and product lifecycle.
For Delivery, acts as a technology expert to:
• Execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews
• Define / review technical blueprint for internal IT projects
• Customize and develop enhancements
• Implement the solutions
• Provide technical documentation
For Operation, acts as a cross functional technology expert to:
• Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement
• Participate in de-escalation activities
• Contribute to the Build to Run engagement
• Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks

Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Master's degree)
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
• At least 2 years relevant work experience in the area of Analytics, thereof 1+ years with SAP Analytics
• High grade of motivation and enthusiasm to optimize solutions and processes
• Proficient knowledge in SAP HANA and the SAP Analytics suite
• Strong Architectural background
• ABAP programming skills and experience on scrum are desirable
• Team player. Ability to lead, guide and work well with others
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks along with priorities
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management
• Ability to work under pressure and to cope with deadlines
• Fluency in both written and verbal English, German language skills strongly preferred
• Masters or similar degree in economics or business administration related studies
• High grade of motivation and enthusiasm to optimize solutions and processes
