Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Our client aims to strengthen its market position in Czech Republic and also an intensive expansion on this market.
- As Head of Sales - Obchodní ředitel / manažer - for Working Materials (for industry/automotive) with a strong operational focus you will be responsible for the sales development of the company in Czech Republic, especially for the customer service to existing customers, new customer acquisition and the profitable development of the Working-Materials-segment.
- Operational management of the Sales Department in Czech Republic; support, leadership and development of the Sales team in Czech Republic.
- Definition, planning and implementation of the established goals concerning revenue, profit and market penetration in close cooperation with the Head Office.
- Strategic development of the segment Working Materials with intensive own operational sales activities (appr. 80 % of working time)
- Expansion of market share in Czech Republic
- Effective and very close cooperation with the suppliers
- Establishment and and development of good personal contacts (sales) with business partners and customers (incl. customer acquisition).
- You are responsible for the establishment and maintenance of long-term business contacts (sales) with existing customers as well as new customers at all levels.
- Ensuring an intensive technical advice and customer service.
- Development and implementation of specific regional sales and marketing concepts
- You use your technical competence and business skills to provide the customers with individual solutions, actively conveying the benefits of “your” products.

- Several years of successful sales and executive experience in a similar position, preferably within an international company, preferably from industry or trade.
- University degree or similar technical qualification.
- Good market and/or industry knowledge is an advantage, but not essential.
- Outstanding sales strengh, good negotiation skills and result-oriented contract-conclusion skills
- Personnel experience and excellent leadership skills as well as ability to motivate a team.
- You have excellent leadership qualities and sales skills; you are convincing and know how to assert yourself in dealing with both customers and staff.
- You are competent, proactive and focused in your actions and approach, your conduct is confident and friendly.
- Hands-on-mentality with a strong focus on sales.
- You are team-minded and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High Willingness to travel
