Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Our client aims to strengthen its market position in Russia, in Central Asia (former Central Asian Soviet Republics) - Rusko - Centrální Azie - and in Central Eastern Europe (Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria and former Yugoslavia) - Východní a Střední Evropa.
- As Area Sales Manager – Business Development Manager you support the Head of International Sales in the marketing and sales development in the above mentioned markets.
- Development of strategic concepts and operational measures to optimize the market penetration on the basis of on-site analysis of the market structures in the above mentioned countries
- Strategic management and supervision of the subsidiary in Russia - Rusko / CIS (Ltd. according to Russian law) and of the distributors/dealers, especially in Central and Eastern Europe, including the development of existing customers and acquisition of new customers
- You are responsible for the establishment and maintenance of personal contacts (sales - prodej - velkoobchod) with business partners and customers at all levels in the above mentioned markets.
- Technical and commercial support of all partners, including order assistance, drafting and negotiation of offers/tenders
- Further development and expansion of the dealer network
- Intensive support and technical advice to the distributors (incl. Trainings)
- Establishing the brand in the regions and promoting brand awareness.
- Development of regionally specific sales concepts and strategies.
- Participation in fairs and exhibitions.
- You use your technical competence and business skills to provide the customers with individual solutions, actively conveying the benefits of “your” products.
- Reporting to the Head of International Sales

Information about the selection process

preferrably Germany (region Hannover-Dortmund) or alternatively home-office based in Germany, Russia, Czech Republic or Poland (with appr. 1 week working presence per month at the headquarters, besides the required level of travelling of at least 50 %)

There is currently a vacancy for a position as Area Sales Manager – Business Development Manager to fill.

Personality requirements and skills

- Excellent command of English and good command of Russian - Ruštna - Ruský jazyk - is required, both spoken and written. Good command of German and other Slavic languages is an advantage.
Note: the nationality or citizenship does not matter, candidates from Austria, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia are also welcome, respectively, taking into account the appropriate travel activity and presence in the company headquarters.
- Several years of successful sales experience in a similar position, preferably within an international company, with experience in project-business in the construction industry.
- University degree (or similar qualification; preferably economics, but also technician with good commercial knowledge).
- Preferably market and/or industry knowledge in sanitary industry / construction industry
- Preferably experience in sales via distributors network
- Good commercial skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Internet).
- Good strategic and analytical skills
- You are a strong personality with good sales skills; you are convincing and know how to assert yourself in dealing with both customers and staff.
- You are competent, proactive and focused in your actions and approach, your conduct is confident and friendly.
- You are team-minded and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel in the region (at least 50 %).
