Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Our client aims to strengthen its market position, especially for export markets.
- The Managing Director Sales & Engineering - Ředitel prodeje a strojírenství - a will be wholly responsible for engineering, business development, customer service to existing customers, new customer acquisition and market development.
- Leadership, coordination, motivation and control of the staff on site in Sales and Engineering.
- Definition, planning and implementation of the established goals concerning revenue, profit and market penetration in close cooperation with the Head Office.
- Coordinating sales activities (also with agencies) and supporting Sales personal from other group companies.
- Preparing and defining offers with the internal interfaces.
- You are acting as interface between the clients and the company.
- Key-Account-Management and establishing and cultivating of long-term business relationships at all decision-making levels.
- Active marketing, defining and developing new machine concepts based on market research and on negotiatons with clients.
- Developing individual sales programs and strategies for the different regions.
- Market and competitor analysis.
- You use your technical competence and business skills to provide the customers with individual solutions, actively conveying the benefits of “your” products.
- Reporting to the Head Office.

Currently the company employs appr. 300 staff in own subsidiaries in some countries and is exporting in more than 80 countries all over the world.

machine-building engineer or technical degree, preferably from the textile industry

Personality requirements and skills

- Excellent command of Czech (on a native level) and very good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Several years of successful executive, sales and engineering experience, preferably within an international company, preferably in the machine-building industry.
- University degree preferred (machine-building engineer or technical degree, preferably from the textile industry).
- Basic commercial knowledge.
- Preferably good market and/or industry knowledge.
- Excellent leadership skills, experience in personnel management as well as ability to motivate a team.
- You are a very strong leader, someone who is convincing, can rely on his own competence and know how to assert yourself in dealing with both customers and staff, on the other hand you cultivate team-oriented personal management style.
- You are competent, proactive and focused in your actions and approach, your conduct is confident and friendly.
- Willingness to travel.
