Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Our client aims to strengthen its market position primarily in Eastern Europe, esp. in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, the Baltic Countries and former Yugoslavia.
- As Key Account Manager Eastern Europe you will be wholly responsible for business development, customer service to existing customers, new customer acquisition and market development in the above mentioned countries. The sales development focus will be on retail chains.
- Definition, planning and implementation of the established goals concerning revenue, profit and market penetration for the different markets in close cooperation with the Head Office.
- Monitoring of product listings and product placements in the stores through regular store checks throughout the sales territory.
- Negotiation with the customers (in close contact with the headquarters).
- Market and competitor analysis.
- Developing individual sales programs and strategies for the different regions.
- Regular reporting on the development of customers in the different countries as well as reporting to the head office.

Our client is an internationally operating company from German speaking country, which belongs to the leading manufacturers in the cosmetics industry - kosmetika, kosmetické produkty, prodej / výroby. The medium-sized company with long tradition sells its products through international retail chains. The company aims to expand its market position at the East European markets with a special focus at Czech Republik, Slovakia, Poland, Romania, Hungary, the Baltic Countries and former Yugoslavia. For these markets there is currently a position as Key Account Manager Eastern Europe to fill.

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Economics preferred or similar commercial qualification.

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) or
German - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

- Excellent command of Czech language (on a native level) and good command of German and/or English, both spoken and written.
- Several years of successful sales experience, preferably within an international company, preferably dealing with retail chains.
- University degree (economics) preferred or similar commercial qualification.
- Preferably good market and/or industry knowledge.
- Good commercial knowledge.
- You are a very strong person, someone who is convincing, can rely on his own competence and know how to assert yourself in dealing with customers
- You are reliable, working in a structured way and you have good analytical skills.
- Competent, independent and goal-oriented actions and approach.
- Open, friendly and confident manner.
- Very sociable, communicative and team oriented personality
- Willingness to travel throughout countries mentioned above.
