POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a developer on the MS platform who will work partially as a support person - from a technical perspective. We want clever, innovative developers that can work with complex systems, large codebases and real world deadlines.

If you are the type of person who enjoys programming and are able to put your teeth into something and at the same time that is also able to co-develop along with our current development team, we definitely want to speak to you.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Search and solve issues within our hosted solutions;
Bridge and close the gap between our operations/ support and development teams;
Analyze and tune the performance of ShipitSmarter applications;
Develop and support ShipitSmarter’s hosted solutions;
Translate business requirements into both short-term solutions and long term products in co-operation with Products and Professional Services teams;
Maintain existing ShipitSmarter software products.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of any low-level web-based programming language - ASP, PHP or similar;
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML;
Good knowledge of SQL and JavaScript;
Good command of English;
Ability to work from home.

NICE TO HAVE

Knowledge of ASP.NET (VB.NET or C#)
jQuery
Insight into logistics/transportation
