Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for qualified candidates with a technical background with experience in the following areas: Software Development, Software Engineering, Application development.
Our client/project locations are Bratislava, Trencin, Zilina, Kosice, Brno, Prague. You can choose your location.
Our ideal candidates should have strong knowledge and long-standing experience with J2EE language, especially Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
- Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Java/J2EE development
- Cooperating on several phases of project (SW analyses, SW design, SW testing)
- Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review

- Master´s degree in information Technologies or equivalent
- English language on active basis
- Good understanding of the core aspects of the Java platform, such as multithreading programming and performance
- At least 1 years experience with java/J2EE programming
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Spring MVC etc.)
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Hands on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Good knowledge of UML
- Experience with whole life cycle of SW development
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS (not required)
- Basic understanding of financial services and / or consulting methodologies within the financial services industry (strategy work, business case development, process mapping, lifecycle of project implementation, requirements gathering, competitive assessment, etc) is a plus, not mandatory.
