Job description, responsibilities and duties
As a category manager you will be responsible for planning and merchandising the campaigns on the website and you will be making the crucial decisions regarding the assortment.
The job will contain various aspects:
• Managing sales plan based on categories, genders, type of assortment to ensure the possibly best product mix.
• Planning the availability of particular assortment on the website, which significantly influences the workload of various departments in the company.
• Partnering with Head of Purchasing Operations to establish a concise and executable merchandise plan mix pre-season and in-season
• Cooperating/coordinating various departments on all stages of sales preparation
• Selection of the offers for campaigns, making the final decision whether the offer is good to be presented on the website
• Providing recommendations and executing campaign sales planning with the purchasing team
• Performing rigorous/in-depth Ad Hoc analysis based on historical performance and product attributes, regarding
• Supporting the development, implementation, and execution of new business processes and technology
• Assist the purchasing team with administrative, product and technical tasks pertaining to sale event preparation
