Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
* Application management, maintenance, administration for production environment for DWH and DataMart
* Application management, maintenance, administration for UAT environment for DWH and DM
* Starting and stopping workflows for data processing
* Job scheduling according to daily schedule for processing - daily snapshot of the day
* Experiences with ODI (Oracle data integrator) and Infromatica data stage
* Install new solutions, version of software and program fixes in DB
* Hot and bug fixing, communication with application support
* Optimization and innovations for processing
* Passwords administration, scripts for automatic password changing
* Coordination of password changes with database team
* Access rights management for vendor, granting/revoking of access rights to/from db roles
* Process creation for managing vendor access rights
* Time plan creation for processing and exporting data
* Performance monitoring, creation of monitoring scripts, application tuning, identification of suboptimal queries and suggest their optimalisation, experience with oracle EM GRID control
* Giving technical know how to other's team members and reporting to head of team / department
* Disk space sizing and participation in process of logical and physical design of databases and applications
PROJECT KNOWLEDGE
* Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
* Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities
* Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope
* Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client
