Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description/ Purpose
The holder of the job takes care of and acts as a main point of contact for highly complex day to day steering of a group of Operation managers, Service Delivery Manager and Project Manager and Application Administrators who coordinate and execute operational service of second level support on global level within PSS
The holder focuses on accomplishment of assigned team objectives by effective resource management, planning and evaluating activities in the assigned area of operational responsibility.

Držiteľ pozície sa zameriava na dokončenie stanovených tímových cieľov pomocou efektívneho menežovania zdrojov, plánovania a vyhodnocovania činností v určenej oblasti zodpovednosti za operatívu.

Processes and service delivery
Maintain relationships with counterparts and other stakeholders by effective communication.
Operationally manage critical situations and solve common escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients.
Collect and provide feedback on contract terms and conditions compliance
Support in the area of operational management of Service Manager, Flexera Flexnet Manager, 2nd level application support for Service manager, TS Viper, Flexera Flexnet Manager and eLog
Supporting T&T customer projects and transition of new services
Quality assurance
Deliver services/solutions to clients in agreed quality according to agreed contracts (OLA, SLA,...) and KPI’s.
Continuously improve processes and products/services in assigned area, plan improvements and implement improvements programs.
Coordinate and control operations, processes, take-over and delivery of services according to standard/processes.
Participates in on-call shifts in the “manager on duty” role
Budgets and finances
Provide inputs to financial and other business plans and effectively coordinate assigned resources to meet financial targets.
Control finance and efficiency management initiatives across the assigned organizational units and sub-units.
Control Business Operation for PSS Slovakia, incl. budget planning and control, resource management, internal project coordination, invoice management, etc.
Motivate and develop people in own team to be able to deliver better quality and maintain satisfaction of employees.
Ensure all people-related regulatory topics (labour code, internal rules & guidelines) are met in the assigned team.
Actively steer capacity of team resources and quality of employee performance results in coherence with customer contracts.
Coordinate a complex team of operation managers, project manager, service delivery manager and 2nd level support and steering operational support services across the PSS locally/globally and on TSI level.

Management scope
People: lead heterogeneous organizational unit with up to 20 members
Operation: coordinate delivery 2nd level operation support of Service manager, Flexera Flexnet Manager and eLog to TSI and to Global customers
Processes: control, ensure and improve processes within the team in compliance with Global and PSS processes
T&T projects: coordinate delivery for T&T customer projects
Finances: control training and travel budgets up to Eur 700 k p.a., revenue up to Eur 750 k p.a.

Requirements for the employee

Required education

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and
German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Higher University degree (MSc) or equivalent (with relevant work experience)
Min 3 year experience in leading teams (with 12+ employees)
Min 5 year experience working in IT
Min 2 year working knowledge of ITIL processes (min ITIL Foundation certified)
English (mandatory): written and oral C1+
German (recommended): written and oral B2+
Work organization and managing skills, esp. crisis management skills (problem solving, work under pressure)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, esp. fostering teamwork, coaching and supervision
Strong customer and results orientation
Good leadership skills and strong project management skills, Advanced time management
