Plant Manager Processing Center

Develops and leads a central processing center for serial production of automotive and non-automotive parts. Experienced plant manager, having solid background in metal processing or similar production facility management (ideally in the machinery or automotive sector), having strong technical expertize, proven track record in new projects management and solid knowledge of logistics/warehousing. Mature, competent, strategically thinking manager. Used to working in international structures, having abilities to steer cross-country teams and lead cross-country projects.


• Drives and manages the operational performance of the site and the people
• Drives continuous improvement in productivity, quality, processes
• Continuously develops the people and the team within the site
• Maintains strong relations with customers providing excellent customer service (quality and delivery reliability)
• Oversees budgeting process, approves expenditures
• Continues to build competencies in manufacturing, logistics, quality and thereby further increasing competencies of the site

Summary of candidate requirements:

• 5+ years in leading an operational manufacturing unit with heterogeneous functionalities (production, logistics, warehousing, quality, health&safety, purchasing)
• Very good technical understanding, strong manufacturing background (metal processing, machinery, automotive)
• Experience in leading a large team of blue and white collar colleagues
• Proven project management skills
• Able to work in multi-cultural environment, with focus on team work and customer satisfaction
• Adequate understanding of other functions such as finance, sales, HR, legal, procurement
• Change orientation & drive capability
• Respectful people manager
• Self driven, team leader, communicative, diplomatic, able to sustain pressure
• Native Slovak, very good English, German knowledge of advantage
