Job description, responsibilities and duties

Main focus of a Marketing Manager will be tracking of a marketing strategy given from global HQ and its implementation and execution on SK/HU markets. He/she will be managing up to 7 people within a marketing department.

Main responsibilities:
• Set brand objectives and implement global brand strategic goals into a local marketing plan for the key channels and customers, in a close cooperation with sales team to ensure a cohesive approach
• To manage all marketing and brand activities within the marketing department.
• To monitor and evaluate promotional/brand performance and play a key role in shaping future promotional activities
• To develop the brand personality, maximising brand awareness and driving consumer, shopper and retail engagement
• To maintain and grow customer marketing relationships with key accounts
• Drive and lead Sport marketing initiatives
• To lead and support cross country marketing team

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in full marketing mix, ideally as a Marketing manager, Senior Brand Manager in an international company within Fashion, FMCG, Retail, Telco or Agency
• University degree in business, ideally with marketing or sales focus
• Significant knowledge of full marketing mix ( advertising, events, retail sponsorship) with a major brand or a retailer
• Dynamic person with natural affinity towards sport. Positive and proactive approach. Team player.
• Excellent presentation skill and people management
• Fluent Slovak and English , Hungarian of a big advantage
