INDUSTRIALIZATION PROCESS ENGINEER – AUTOMOTIVE INTERIOR PARTS

Functions of the job
– Define the process within the assigned Project (facilities, tools, assemblies and operations, number of operators, cycle times, etc.). Management of Industrialization processes in the areas of automatic plastic welding, post-injection, and assembly according to defined criteria.
– Ensure proper communication among project participants, production plant and suppliers. Coordinate and lead a team of Engineers.
– Monitoring of welding, post-injection and assembly facilities, based on the Technical Specifications Handbook, starting from the initial phase of the project till the complete industrialization in the production plant. Including the management and monitoring of the production means, tools, welding facilities, assembly, etc.
– Kick off of suppliers RFQ and negotiation.
– Optimization of post-injection, welding and assembly processes, ensuring proper quality, project profitability and timing. Analysis and support in the search and implementation of new process technologies.

Requirements
– Engineering Degree.
– Experience in the assembly and welding of plastics by ultrasonics.
– Experience in plastics injection.
– Availability to travel (Europe)
– Wide experience in the industrialization of complex projects in automotive sector related to interior plastic ensembles such as seats, doors, cockpit, etc.
– Team work. Ability for problem solving and analytical mind
– Good communications skills. Tolerance to stress.
– English B2-C1. Knowledge of German is a plus.
