STAMPING PROCESS ENGINEER - AUTOMOTIVE

Functions of the job
– Technical Project KICK-OFF. Collect from PM/Commercial Dpt. all updated information after Project nomination by customer
– Tools Purchase specification – Creation and delivery to Purchasing Dept.
– Management of modifications with supplier
– Management of modifications with customer – Monitoring of modifications required by customer and preparation of technical response. Support PM
– Ensure proper analysis of potential technical impact of product/process modifications in timing and Project Budget
– Monitoring of Supplier / Customer timing and creation of action plan, if necessary
– Monitoring of tools construction – Reception of materials, monitoring of 2D machining, preparation, assembly, 3D machining, final tuning – Creation of action plan in case of delays
– Verification of first samples to die/press machine and analysis of first results with Quality Dept.
– Perform first static and dynamic tests
– Support Tools Specialist during the evaluation of PRESERIES PRODUCTION. Monitoring of samples delivery to customer
– Coordinate analysis of tested parts during pre-series to stablish corrective actions and priorities, together with Tools Specialist and Quality Engineer
– Support Tools Specialist in the realization of final static and dynamic tests.
– Ensure that necessary documentation for mass production is prepared on time (assembly diagrams, preventive plan, production instructions, etc.)

Requirements
– Min. 3 year experience in Stamping/metal sheet processing
– Demonstrable experience in complex project industrialization
– Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and/or German
