Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Account and audit
-responsible for selection and implementation of accounting
-responsible that accounts are booked up to date and according to the required standard-processing the accounting and the payroll data in the accounting system
-responsible for preparation company´s accounting policies
-responsible that accounts are reconciled with status on a monthly and quarterly basis
-monthly and quarterly review of balance sheets with reconciliation of stock, creditors and debtors
-preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
-compiling statistical data, analyzes monthly for the company

Relation to auditor
-responsible for the yearly audit
-take care of the relation to the auditor
-cooperation and preparation of documents for inspection and audit

Relation to the tax office and state institutions
-take care of the relation to the tax office

Tax and statistic reporting, relation to the tax office
-preparation and calculation of tax returns, including income tax, corporate income tax, VAT and other related to the business of the employer
-responsible that the obligatory tax and statistic reports are prepared on time

Payments in and out
-in charge of system and daily and weekly routines to control and reconcile cash and bank
-register all incoming payments and provide weekly updates to sales managers of whole sale customer´s outstanding debt
-expedite all payments to suppliers, service providers and other creditors on time and in the most cost efficient way

Information about the selection process

As accountant you are responsible that the accounts are up to date and in compliance with the required standards at all times.
It is essential that the figures for financial result are available on time for the managements use in controlling that budgets are kept.
It is essential that reports to tax and other authorities are prepared and submitted on time.

The main scope of the company is to offer customers good and fashionable second-hand clothes. Currently we operate 155 shops in 9 countries and one sorting center in Slovakia. The company´s vision is to constantly expands with more shops and into new countries.
