Online Journalist

Place of work: Hungary. If you are an experienced journalist who thrives under real-time deadline pressure. You are able to make in-depth research and create content which is immersive and accessible to the general reader. You have an ability to translate jargon and complex discussions into clear language and you feel good in remote work then we have great offer for you.

You want to challenge

• Creating engaging news, articles and reports.
• Gathering information about transport and logistic industry from many different sources and preparing interesting online publication.
• Monitoring social media platforms and conducting ongoing activities including responding to social audience.
• Building and maintaining social network with influencers in transport industry in Hungary.
• Preparing content for video news.

Your strengths are:

• Excellent web writing and editorial skills and solid understanding of web publishing standards.
• Extensive real-time editing experience in the transport/economic industry.
• Good command of English (speaking and writing) and native Hungarian.
• Extensive experience in transport and logistic sector will be an asset.
• Ability to understand readers needs, insights, perspective and environment.
• Excellent networking skills are required, alongside a great knowledge of news issues in Hungarian transport/economic industry.
• Very good understanding of communication trends and new technologies.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Knowledge about tools and social mechanism in social media.
• Basic knowledge about Google Analytics (ability to perform decisions based on data analysis).
