Project engineer of painting

We are looking for a candidate for position of Project engineer of painting. Place of work is Levice.

Our client is a German concern operating worldwide, with many years of experience in manufacturing driveline and chassis technology (dampers, flywheels, stabilizers, etc.). The company belongs in its field to one of the three largest worldwide subcontractors for the automotive.

Position of Project engineer is unique. It combines work at the factory in Levice and also in other plants of the production of dampers all over the world. He cooperates there with other project engineers on improvement of painting processes and their implementation in the various plants within the concern.

The main goal of the Project engineer is to ensure an optimal painting process of dampers. He focuses his activities mainly on:
- set up the painting process for dampers prototype manufacturing in Levice,
- laboratory testing of painting processes,
- monitoring, evaluation and continuous improvement of painting processes,
- installation of new painting processes (not only in Levice, but also in plants all over the world),
- participation in audits throughout the Group,
- keeping and updating relevant documentation.

Project engineer of painting works with his colleagues abroad, that´s why part of his job is about frequent traveling to other production plants.

During the adaptation, successful candidate will learn about the company and its production program. He will take a part in manufacturing practice for better knowledge of production processes. Afterwards he will receive training at department, where he will work. Laboratory training will be directly in mother company in Germany.

We are looking for the Project engineer of painting from any country, who is willing to work in Levice and who:
- has experience in painting technology (wet chemistry),
- has at least theoretical knowledge about cathodic dip-paint or electrostatic painting,
- is willing to travel all over the world not only for short-term business trip (e.g. 1 week) but also for a longer period (few months),
- can communicate in English, because this is the language of communication at this position.
