Supplier Performance Excellence

Perform Supplier Development and Strategy Deployment in a specific Region/ Country in order to
  • Improve performance of existing suppliers
  • Support flawless Product Launch
  • Support Category Performance
Standard Work Execution
  • Policy, Procedure and Tools Execution. Roll out and training.
New Supplier On-Boarding

Supplier Assessment and Validation (OSA and Technical Reviews)

Capacity Verification and Improvement

Process audits and improvement

Emerging Issues On-Site Support & CA

Change Management (Resourcing and NPI)

Supplier APQP

Capacity verification and improvement

Emerging Problems solving and sustainable solution

The business to cover and support is $450 Mio of spend , 10 000 suppliers, 50 NPI projects a year, 50 re-sourcing projects

Selected portfolio of suppliers in a country or a region

Impact: Sustainable improvement of the supplier performances, for the suppliers in the region to meet the quality and business objectives of the products, services and contracting businesses Supports new product introductions and sourcing changes

Responsible for developing the suppliers to improve performance and compliance in the region

Support Category strategy : supplier validation, on boarding.

Knowledge:

Master Quality system

- Audits and suppliers assessments

- Control Plan, Quality plan

- SCAR or / and SPAR processes

- PPAP processes

- Change management (Supplier deviation request)

- APQP

Lean and 6 sigma tools

Capacity analysis

International compliance and regulation awareness

Continuous improvement workshop

Problem solving:

At a supplier level, local suppliers as well as global suppliers (delivering to more than one location, region)

Demonstrate business acumen and agility in working within a matrix and cross-functional environment to proactively (and reactively) address supplier quality, service, delivery and other critical supply issues; ability to understand and work within diverse cultural landscape and close organizational levels to seek opportunities for improvement and leverage resources for problem resolution. Good judgment for escalation process. Structured approach like 8D, A3 for problem solving engagement, communication and sustainable solution approach

Customer focus

Acts with customers in mind; promotes customer focused business practices; takes time to establish personal contact with key internal customers and ensure organizational and business needs are being met; constantly looking for “voice of the customer” with respect to continuous improvement opportunities

Skills & Experience

Good communication skills – verbal, non-verbal-, leadership, active listening, assertiveness, problem solving, decision making, stress management, perseverance , the ability to influence and lead in driving changes in the organization, negotiation skills and long term relationship approach, customer focus, and continuous improvement focus; team player

Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or associated), or Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or university in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management

At least 10 years varied experience in manufacturing engineering, quality, NPD, with supplier development.

Excellent English (Czech or German is advantage)

Able to work independently

Familiar with systems and tools

Certified auditor or supporting experience

Quality management certificates or supporting experience

Green Belt is an advantage

Travel requirements - 30 to 40 %

Change management and operation management experience is an advantage

Location: Position can be located in Ráječko (Czech Republic), Skelmersdale, Great Yarmouth (United Kingdom) or in Neuruppin (Germany).
