As the Junior Data Analyst you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the master data of the various UPS SCS applications, with regards to warehouse, transport, inventory and order management to ensure a proper working of the systems and applications in line with the operational and financial objectives and budgets.


You will act as UPS SCS EMEA central point of contact for all master data related topics and act as first level support for users for specific application related problems.


Your other task will be to:

• Support the development and costing of solutions for potential new revenue for the current business based on detailed analyses of the requirements of a customer (RFQ process) from system setup point of view

• Support and coordinate customer implementation projects, specifically WMS & OMS related

• Development and implementation of projects for the improvement of the productivity and efficiency of the current operation, specifically focused on the support by the WMS / OMS application

• Act as a member of the SPL European Central teams for developing, planning and implementing future SPL operations and network distribution

To be successful in this job you should have following profile:

• Bachelor or Master degree, background in Logistics, Industrial Engineering or Management science (also recently graduated persons will be considered)
• IT background or a record of proven experience in WMS / OMS within the logistics service provider industry preferred
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (macro, VBA), MS Access, MS Word, MS Project and Visio, good understanding of query language (e.g. SQL)
• 0 -2 years experience in Warehousing, Service Parts Logistics, Transport and Distribution.
• 0-2 years experience in Information Technology projects related with the logistics area (e.g. as part of WMS, TMS, OMS, ERP or others supply chain execution projects)
• Excellent analytical and data analysis skills
• Accurate, disciplined, organized, able to prioritize his own workload
• Very good communication skills as the central point of contact, ability to negotiate and emphasize deadlines
• Very good English skills
