Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Manage the quality & laboratory departments
• Assurance of quality at the production (product quality, inspection, standards, procedures)
• Assurance of ISO 9001 & BRC-IoP standards recertifications
• Assurance of the 3rd party, customers & internal audits
• Responsibility for determination, introduction and follow-up of the preventive and corrective actions based on the customer complaints and internal findings
• Continual improvement activities within Quality department
• Close cooperation with other departments (production, maintenance, development) & parent company in Belgium
• Administration & reporting
• Responsibility for the environment, waste management & law requirements
• Communication with the state and local authorities
• Member of plant management team
• Direct reporting to plant manager
