Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Design of lenses and lens systems for LEDs
• Adjustment existing lenses to new LED / LED modules
• Development of new or re-design of existing LED modules for VS
• To meet time schedule of each development phase
• To meet the technical and quality standards, norms of Health and Environment protection of EU and SR during development and re-design of products.
• Accuracy of technical documents of new or redesigned products necessary for production, QA or archive according to rules of VS.
• Standardization of parts, it means to minimize qty of new parts during development or re-design of products
• Characterization of Components and Modules
• Monitoring of new LEDs
• Communication to external suppliers, partners
• To make other activities according to superior’s instructions related to his position
Requirements/Qualifications
• Bachelor or graduate in Optical Engineering/ Scientist for Physics/ Bachelor or graduate technical University in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Experience in electronic design
• Experience in design of optical components/lenses
• Good level of technical English
• Team player
• Willing for business trips
• Driving license B
Nice to have:
• Experience with Lightplanning
• Experience with optical metrology
• Basic knowledge in German
• Knowledge of SW Light Tools
