Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a number of First Article Inspectors to support at our customer’s suppliers on a long term contract in Laupheim, Schemmerhofen, Dresden and Herborn.
Our customer specialises in aircraft interior products; ranging from cargo lining, overhead storage compartments to galleys and bars.

Personality requirements and skills
Candidates must have the following experience:
• Min. 5 years of work experience in aeronautic business/technical monuments
• Demonstrate evidence of more than 1-year in the last 3-years of aerospace inspection experience
• Demonstrate knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings
• Demonstrate evidence of product specific knowledge and experience in the fields of monuments (e.g., electricity, mechanic and pneumatic)
• Airworthiness knowledge (EASA Part 21G / POA),
• Cosmetic Guideline Awareness
• Have basic aviation quality knowledge e.g. Quality Management Systems¸ Quality Management for suppliers,
• Demonstrate knowledge of computer skills in recent versions of Microsoft’s Excel and Word programs
• Possess certain industry acceptable and applicable physical qualifications such as; visual acuity, colour recognition, hearing and lift up to 30-lbs to desk height without assistance (if required)
• Demonstrate an understanding and use of AS9102 current revisions
• Have completed at least 10-first article inspections
In addition to the above, resources will demonstrate and possess:
• A good knowledge of technical English (at least level B1)
• A high level of flexibility
• Excellent articulation
• Good negotiating skills
• A willingness to travel
• Be team minded / player
• Work well under pressure
• International driver licence
