Job description, responsibilities and duties

For our client based in Prague operating in Telco business we are looking for suitable candidate.

YOUR JOB:

- You will directly manage Online development team (now up to 10 developers)
- Resource planning in AD team, ie allocation of team members to individual project and work requests development activity, validation of development progress , coordination of support tasks (application maintenance)
- Effort estimates for development work and agreement on delivery dates with project managers.
- Explanation of development effort to business owners, mainly Online manager
- Ensure sufficient team capacity for AD based on long term work forecast
- You will define Application Development methodology, standards and documentation
- Define development standards and documentation standars
- Drive adoption of the standards in the development teams
- You will coordinate with the Testing of Internal Development (together with Testing team)
- Define methodology for testing of internal delivery. Unit tests done by Development teams, methodology alignment with testing team (system, integration tests)
- Define criteria and methodology for Performance testing
- Automated testing tools introduction
- Drives introduction of automated testing via adoption of new tools
- Team Responsibility

TEAM
- Direct reports - Online Development team - 5 internal developers + External developers during capacity peaks
- Matrix reports - 3 developers in Operations shared teams (Logistics, Mediation & Interconnect).
