Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for an HR Manager to our clients organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees to best support the business.
This HR Manager position will be responsible for HR tasks and activities in Czech, Poland and Slovakia.

Sector of our client: an international manufacturing company based in Přerov region.

Responsibilities:

In this position you are responsible for executing the operational HR processes as well as supporting the execution of strategic HR actions originating from all businesses in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. You will be a member of the local management team.

You may act as a project manager for specified HR projects.
In detail, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Resourcing within own responsibility area: resource planning with managers, recruitment and selection, redundancy and restructuring activities
• Country legislation and compliance e.g. , labor unions to make sure that the business lines are following the legislation, processes and local agreements as well as company policies, providing advice to line managers in selected countries on employment law related matters
• Compensation & benefits: supporting business and HR Business Partner in managing salary reviews and bonus programs according to company policies and local legislation, provide local expertise to salary surveys and C&B development
• Talent development and retention: planning and implementing competence development activities in cooperation with EMEA Talent Management team to support professional development and competitiveness of the organization
• Driving people processes (e.g. performance and development reviews, employment satisfaction surveys, successor planning) implementation in own responsibility area, acting as project manager when required
• Facilitating good work culture and organizational development, driving employee engagement and welfare and handling performance management cases with integrity
• Local works council co-operation
• Coordination of the occupational well-being activities
• Coordination of collective agreement and employment related matters in the country
• Coaching line managers proactively on effective management of all HR related topics and promoting HR processes and systems to the managers
• Developing, maintaining and analysing HR metrics as required by the business
• Providing local expertise to the development of HR processes and practices as required
• Active participation in ISO system in the company
• Cooperation with external payroll vendor and HSE department

Requirements:

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

- Suitable education (Bachelor’s degree or higher)
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in a generalist HR role in a multicultural and matrix environment, experience from production environment and foundry is considered an advantage
- Strong knowledge of local employment law in Czech
- Very good influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand the strategic role of HR to enable the business to reach the set targets
- Proven track record of problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure
- Service mindset and solution orientation
- Coaching skills are an advantage
- Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative way of working
- Fluent spoken and written Czech, as well as English language skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
