Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

* This role is to perform supplier statement reconciliations of approximately 400 suppliers, starting with those representing the highest values. The reconciliations will need to take account of transactions which have taken place over a 2 year period, and will involve bringing together information which is held in a number of different accounts on the ledger, including prepayments, bank accounts, other current assets, Goods Received Not Invoiced and Services Received Not Invoiced.
* The reconciliations will cover 2 distinct legal entities, one located in Crailsheim and one located at Bad Schonborn.
* Team members will be required to follow a reconciliation model which has been put in place, and to ensure that correcting entries are posted in line with a pre-defined scenario guide. As the reconciliation process proceeds it is possible that changes will be made to both the model and scenario guide and the team will need to adapt to these changes.
* Team members will also have to contact suppliers to obtain a detailed transactional history to assist with reconciliations, and follow up with suppliers as necessary if there are any queries or further information required.

Personality requirements and skills

This role requires candidates with:
* 3 years recent experience of performing complex reconciliation exercises, with a working knowledge of AP transaction flows
* Ability to interpret the results of the reconciliation model and draw conclusions on correcting postings
* Ability to enter journals on the Oracle ERP system to be approved and posted / oder ähnliche ERP System
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Excellent communication ability to liaise with Terex staff and suppliers
* English language fluent
