Quality Manager – start up

About the job:
To be the company representative for of all Quality aspects, leading and developing the organisation, operational and quality departments in terms quality and business needs, in conjunction with customer specific requirements and business objectives, in a continuous improvement cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Management and development of customer relations, ensuring regular liaison and business tools such as Quality Operating System (QOS) are utilised to monitor and improve performance in parallel with customer reporting systems.
• Implementation, control and development of Business standards and Customer specific requirements within the organisation (e.g. TS 16949)
• Promote and drive problem solving within the plant utilising proven methodologies to implement, verify and validate permanent solutions to known concerns
• Management of day to day quality concerns at the customer, Supplier and in plant in terms of quality performance
• Complete H&S Audits in conjunction with site procedure
• Develop team and personal needs in terms of skills and competencies required to meet business needs and continuously improve.
• Lead variation reduction in all aspects of quality including warranty returns process.

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Suitable education
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in quality management position – experience from automotive area is a must have
• Very good influencing and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking
• Proven track record of problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure
• Coaching skills are an advantage
• Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative way of working
• Fluent spoken and written Slovak/Czech, as well as English language skills
