Engineering/Technical Manager – start up

About the job:
The prime purpose of the role is to effectively Manage the Engineering Team, ensuring the Processes and Facilities are capable of supporting the Delivery of all Products to our Client’s Customers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate and develop the Process Engineering, Toolroom to successfully achieve the overall Plant objectives. Ensuring that at all times there is a single “Team” approach to all activities.
• Support other Functions in the application of the PFMEA/DFMEA/FMEA
• Ensure an effective personal working relationship with the Management team and other departments.
• Lead Team to ensure prompt responses to Business needs, and develop an Accountability culture
• Ensure all Equipment / Tooling is Maintained as per the TPM Schedule
• Drive a Continuous Improvement culture across the whole Team
• Ensure the facility meets all HSE and Legal requirements, as and when required (Fire risk assessments, Crane certifications, Contractor Permits, etc. etc. )
• Creation and publication of K.P.I.s for the Department
• Leading the Training and Development for all direct reports, ensuring a highly skilled, motivated Team
• Creating and Managing the Department Budget to ensure the Plant Financial targets are met
• In addition, to the above non-definitive tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Suitable education
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in process engineering or project management management position – experience from automotive area is a must have
• Very good influencing and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking
• Proven track record of problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure
• Coaching skills are an advantage
• Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative way of working
• Fluent spoken and written Slovak/Czech, as well as English language skills
