Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are seeking a BI Analytics Platform Manager to join our BI Analytics organization within Group IT Enterprise Application Services (EAS).
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of BI & Analytics operations services for our global shared platforms.
You will play a key role in defining the platform management requirements as early as project initiation, ramping up the required services and resources and ensuring new solutions are smoothly being transitioned into regular operations, in collaboration with the project management team, the solution design team and the service management team.
You will proactively drive communications and stakeholder management.
You will report to the Head of BI Platform Management.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization

Computer Science or equivalent

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

SAP - Advanced
SAP administration - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

• Prior experience working in a financial services environment desirable, preferably insurance
• Over 5 years of relevant BI experience, with strong technical background in Informatica PowerCenter, SAP Business Objects and/or Microstrategy
• Additional experience with one or several of the following stacks is a plus: SAP BW, SAP HANA, SAP BPC, DB2, AIX
• Solid experience in Service Management both at application and platform levels
• Proven ability to drive teams for highly effective delivery leveraging multi-source staffing models including internal and external partners
• Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills at different levels and in a multicultural and multi-location environment
• Ability to work effectively in a global organization, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
• Primary work location is Bratislava, with travel depending on the nature and level of involvement in respective projects.
