Transition Manager Accounts Receivables

Global Services Finance Focus Area is looking for a Transition Manager for Accounts Receivable. You will be part of the Finance Center of Excellence reporting to the Head of Finance Center of Excellence which is placed under the VP for Global Services Finance. In Finance Center of Excellence we work with ensuring that the Best Practise accounting processes are continuously improving. We also work with making sure that all involved in the processes are delivering quality throughout these processes. This is done via maintaining a good working relationship with the stakeholders in and outside of Global Services.

Your main responsibility as Transition Manager of Accounts Receivable (AR) is to drive rollout of the Credit Management change project – transferring responsibility and improve the AR Credit Management process. The overall objective for the job is to have lean, quality processes aligned throughout Danfoss globally.

Key Tasks
  • Support & actively drive project implementations
  • Coordinate transition of scope changes & extensions
  • Support root course analysis & solution finding
  • Coordinate relationship with key stakeholders
  • Follow-up on open issues securing agreed deadlines
  • Identify future sources of conflict & address underlying causes
  • Develop consistent training & information packages to support the project
  • Conduct trainings for various audiences
Qualifications and Work Experience
We expect you to have a Bachelor or Master education within Accounting or Finance and 2-4 years of experience within Project management and/or Change Management. Experience from working within AR, and overall understanding of business relationship mechanisms in regard to external customers, is preferable.

  • Able to differentiate situations and adapt communication accordingly in most situations As well as handling responses from others appropriately
  • Modify own behaviour to the need in most situations and adjust thinking and approach based on new information or events
  • Maintain high ethical and professional standards, without being unreasonably rigid or inflexible
  • Capable on coach, challenge and train others within the project areas
  • Responsible team-player appreciating issues from the perspective of different cultures and countries
  • Frequently travel globally throughout the project preparation and implementation – 40 to 50% of working time
  • Strong English communication skills – written & verbally
