IT Analytics Consultant – graduates welcome

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The Enterprise Analytics team assumes SAP-wide ownership for management reporting, driving SAP’s Business Intelligence strategy and fostering a culture of fact-based decision-making.
Supporting the 80,000 employees of SAP, Enterprise Analytics is the Front Runner of SAP’s newest technology before it goes to the Marketplace (“SAP Runs SAP” is primary leitmotiv), collaborating continuously with the Research & Development organization.

This role provides a unique opportunity to develop and grow your talents in a worldwide Leader in Software Edition.
You will collaboratively design and implement Analytics and Planning applications and business solutions, providing steering excellence through agile innovation.


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

The IT Analytics Consultant contributes to the execution of SAP Enterprise Analytics’ strategy, enabling business end users with Reporting and Planning solutions based on the latest SAP technology. Joining our teams of technical experts, her/his role covers the following scope.
For Delivery, s/he acts as a technology expert to:
• Execute technical feasibility studies / solution reviews
• Define / review technical blueprints for internal projects
• Customize and develop enhancements
• Implement solutions
• Provide technical documentation
For Operations, s/he acts as a cross-functional technology expert to:
• Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement
• Participate in de-escalation activities
• Contribute to the Build-to-Run engagement
• Contribute to the definition of technical standards and frameworks


WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE:

At least 1 professional experience in Platform Management / Database Management preferred

• High level of motivation and enthusiasm
• Database Management experience
• General understanding of IT Architectures
• Programming skills and Scrum experience desirable
• Team player. Ability to lead, guide and work well with others
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks and multiple priorities
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and writing skills to successfully interact with colleagues and executive management
• Ability to work under pressure and to cope with deadlines
• Fluency in both written and verbal English; German language skills strongly preferred
• Masters or similar degree in economics or business administration related studies
