Job description, responsibilities and duties
The Pricing Specialist will provide support to AT&T pricing and sales teams by obtaining pricing of externally provided telecommunication services, confirming service availability, and processing requests for feasibility. This position will also support in negotiating and optimising pricing whilst also driving new initiatives/process improvements.
The specialists’ main functions are to:
• Drive vendors to respond to pricing requests and also negotiate for best possible price to deliver to our Sales partners
• Work both internally and externally to understand requirements and resolve issues to ensure quotes are accurate and delivered in timely manner
• Review the process and find opportunities to drive improvements in process and turnaround of quotes
The tasks in scope include, but are not limited to:
• Obtaining and negotiating price quotes with external vendors
• Working with multiple internal and external price-lists and pricing-tools to deliver pricing to partners within AT&T
• Driving / contributing to improvements of processes and tools
• Updating internal tools and databases reflecting current service offerings of AT&T’s vendors and contacting methods (contacts, Pricing Tool storage locations and Process documents describing how to use such Tools)

• Appreciation of telecoms terminology knowledge & high-level understanding of Telco market to be able to discuss requests with vendors across the globe
• Microsoft Office Application suite user skills (Outlook, Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work with people in a team environment and offer flexibility to support at times of high volume
