What You'll Do
As a SD-WAN engineer, you will collaborate with talented, dynamic, passionate, and diverse team members who support the high-end Cisco customers to resolve highly complex technical issues within SD-WAN solutions. You will provide technical support to high-profile Cisco customers. Working with state of the art technologies and solutions will also be part of your job. Our SD-WAN engineers are trusted advisors to Cisco customers. They directly impact the Customer Dedication with Cisco which reflects DTT success as a business leader in SD-WAN technology.
Work closely with the Deutsche Telekom product and sales teams
Provide technical leadership, guidance and support in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet a customer’s business needs
Provide the deepest level of Cisco SDWAN expertise available to customers from anyone in the sales organization in deal pursuit situations
Participate in discussion with product and engineering teams on new product and feature introduction

Purpose
Design new solution (standard and non-standard) to fulfill customer requirements. Execute testing and analyzes to identify flaws of the configuration. Create migration concepts and plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of new solution. Execute and support migrations/implementation of designed solution to deliver new functionality to the customer. Test, validate and document new releases in order to identify flaws and provide migration plan from old to new version of the release.

Who You Are
You enjoy troubleshooting issues for Enterprise and Service Provider (SP) customers. You also have experience deploying and troubleshooting PnP (plug and play), SD-WAN fabric (Controllers, cEdges, Underlay) or similar NMS (Network Management System). Network design and/or deployment experience is also a big plus.
If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…
-Bachelors or equivalent degree in Engineering
-CCNP/CCIE or a similar Expert Level -Certification in the Networking space
-Expert / Professional in SD-WAN based VPN and security technology
-3 years + experience as Systems Engineer working with Service Providers and/or large MSP or Channel Partners
-Knowledge of networking technology like BGP, MPLS, L2/L3 VPN
-Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP)
-Experience using routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
-Expert SD-WAN Knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN technology and cEdge Hardware family
-Experience with Cisco Network Service Orchestrator
-Hands-on experience with Yang Data Model
-Experience with Ansible, Python or/and Terraform
-Hands-on experience with at least one of the cloud vendors (AWS, Microsoft, Google) and Cloud Security (certification will be a plus)
-Technical certifications will be a plus
