- Administration of LAN hardware (routers, switches, ACS, WIFI, firewall, proxy, UAC)
- Administration of WAN hardware and network devices in colocation/data centers
- Administration of VPN (site-to-site, remote access)
- Administration of multivendor environment – mostly Juniper, less Cisco, Dell
- Projects might include work with devices based on linux platform, basic knowledge of Linux and Microsoft OS - mostly for troubleshooting/testing purposes
- Design and implementation of new services, incl. proof of concept, testing, implementation and maintenance
- Design of new services may include working on and submitting multiple alternatives, comparisons of scaling, financial costs, difficulty of implementation
- Suggest improvements to existing services, how to improve their quality, reliability or reduce cost
- Responsibility/accountability for given projects, diving the projects into tasks, meeting deadlines
- Solving incidents, responsibility/accountability for incident resolution
- Resolving/completing services requests from users/teams
- Contribute to improving the skillset of the team and its members
