Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- responsibility to apply ISO 26262 onto company products
- creating the safety plan and integrating it into the general project plan
- Generating and updating the safety case report, containing safety evidence and
argumentation
- Assuring that safety process is observed on their projects (also applies to suppliers and
subcontractors)
- Reporting the progress of functional safety activities to the management and – in case of
need - escalating critical issues to the management
- Communicating directly with the customer’s Safety Manager on safety topics
- Performing a safety impact analysis in case of RFI/RFQ
- Participating to project Gate assessments (PPCC)
- Supporting and coordinating functional safety assessments on AL side, also ensuring
implementation of any corrective actions
