Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our client – an international company with SSC based in Prague – is searching for experienced Senior Accountant with English language.
The successful candidate will be responsible for statutory accounting and local financial statements in individual countries, monitoring of changes in local accounting legislation, keeping methodological documents, guidelines and procedures, communication regarding tax issue with business client, organisation of local audits and coordination with Prague office, coordinating and controlling local processes, reconciliation of statutory accounts and other assigned accounts. The successful candidate will be also a key person for taxes and especially VAT.

Candidates with education suit the position
University education (Bachelor's degree)
Language skills
English - Advanced (C1)
Personality requirements and skills
The right candidate should have relevant education and at least 3 years of experience in accounting, willingness to learn new things and ability to work under pressure. IT proficiency (Excel, SAP) is required as well as fluent English and knowledge of IFRS. The candidate needs to meet deadlines, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer service focus and be able to act and operate independently.
