Job summary
Provide Accounts Payable support to our Global Business Services in Prague. The role includes processing of invoices, processing of payments, processing travel expenses, and handling of external and internal vendor correspondence.


Key responsibilities:
• Code and process invoices and match invoices to purchase orders
• Ensure all AP records follow applicable company and accounting policies
• Resolve all invoice / purchase order discrepancies
• Prepare payments to suppliers according to agreed schedule
• Where designated, maintain correspondence with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Review and approve travel expenses in accordance with legislation and internal policies
• Process other Travel & Entertainment related tasks
• Create/Maintain Vendor Master Data requests as per agreed process
• Participate in special projects by supporting management and the project team in various tasks
• Engage in process improvement initiatives
• Actively participate in training programs
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule if required


Minimum Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in a finance and AP accounting department using SAP
• French at min B2 level is a must
• Degree or diploma in finance/accounting and applicable knowledge and understanding of general accounting principles.
• Strong technology skills, including PC and Web-based applications with a working knowledge/understanding of business finance system platforms (e.g., Excel, SAP, Concur as advantage etc.)
• Accuracy and excellent attention to details.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required


Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or similar field preferred
• Experience with AP in shared service center environments preferred
• Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn, “can do” attitude, detail oriented
• Able to work under pressure during peak periods
• Ability to set priorities and work with structure
• Ability to work independently, identify problems, and propose solutions
• Ability to communicate well with internal and external parties
