Job description, responsibilities and duties

As HP we are supporting our customer Procter&Gamble in the implementation and support for their supply chain processes. Our support and implementation team is implementing und supporting EDI based communication solutions and local applications for Procter&Gamble’s local market organisations in the EMEA region.

For our customer support team supporting the French P&G market we want to increase our team with 2 junior technical consultants (one in Slovakia and one in Egypt). The candidate needs to have a bachelor degree and be willing to learn the business processes as well as the technical specifics in EDI and SAP. After some training the candidate needs to be able to support the EDI communication between P&G and its customers, within P&G’s SAP solution as well as to the point of contact to P&G’s customers systems.

The candidate will be a member of HP’s Western European Market Services team supporting the EDI implementations of P&G’ organisation in France. The person will work in an international and virtual team together with other WE Market Services team members as well as with local business contacts from the customer. The person needs to work closely with the customer and needs to cooperate with his colleagues who are located mainly in Egypt, Slovak Republic, France and Germany.

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor degree in computer science or related study
• Willingness to quickly understand the specific business processes and systems set-up used at P&G
• Fluent in conversational, written and technical English
• Fluent in conversational, written and technical French
• Excellent communication skills in writing, presenting and listening
• Strong analytical skills working in a highly complex IT environment.
• Ability to assimilate information and build new expertise quickly
• Able to collaborate and work in a multi-national and diverse virtual team
• Good initiative and follow-through
• Leadership qualities: integrity, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Well organised and able to co-ordinate well
• Basic SAP and EDI skills are welcome
