Job description, responsibilities and duties
A fantastic opportunity has arisen, JATO are seeking an Automotive Data & Market Analyst to join our Analysis and Reporting team based in Czech Republic.
As an Automotive Data & Market Analyst, you will provide high-quality customised analysis and reporting solutions by extracting, manipulating, analysing and interpreting automotive data. You will be primarily focused on the German Automotive market but you will also have the opportunity to support different markets/ countries.
Responsibilities
• Data extraction from JATO databases, including; Specifications, Incentives, Volumes, Model Mix, Specs into Model Mix, Transaction Analysis and JATO News
• Carry out qualitative and quantitative analysis on a single and multi-market level data
• Creation and delivery of reports and analysis on a timely basis, with a focus on German customers
• Performance of QA of reports to ensure a consistently high quality standard exceeding customer expectations
• Identification, documentation and reporting of market trends, anomalies and key events effecting the automotive industry
• Identify potential improvements in current and new reports in cooperation with the Business Intelligence department
• Timely documentation of workload on an on-going basis in Outlook/Activity Tracker as reports are completed and delivered

• University degree or equivalent work experience in related field (DB analysis, quantitative analysis, marketing sciences, statistics, mathematics, business, etc.)
• Working knowledge in performing analysis gained within the automotive industry is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Good communication in German is preferred
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Detail oriented with excellent analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work independently or within a team environment
• University degree or equivalent work experience in related field (DB analysis, quantitative analysis, marketing sciences, statistics, mathematics, business, etc.)
