Job description, responsibilities and duties

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing of the sales and marketing strategy for Window & Door Segment in a specified geographic region of Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary and for verification of suitability and matching of business models. BDM is the voice of Division in the Region / Country and voice of Region / Country in the Division. Regional BDM is the “right hand” of the Division Director and core member of the Division Management team.
BDM’s main responsibilities
Strategy implementation and business management including market share development in traditional sales channels and in professional solutions segment (programs such as WINS, etc.)
Localization of Marketing Mix, Sales approaches and Products
Management & development of the Regional and/or Country Divisional Team
• Country BDM’s (relevant for Regional BDM)
• Technical Sales Representatives (Country BDM)
• Trainers (Country BDM)
• Dedicated Marketing Managers (Region or Country BDM)
Management of the sales project pipeline in order to deliver business results (in project sales, B2B business)
Build and maintain relations with Key Accounts, Associations and opinion leaders
Key accountabilities and responsibilities
• is co-responsible for the division’s financial results in the Region and/or Country
• in terms of execution of the Strategy implementation and business management, is particular responsible for: - recommending directions for Regional and/or country market share development, adapting business models for specific geographies, and verifying their suitability and implementation, preparing and executing the division’s strategy for the Region or Country
• works in parallel on profitable development of market share development in traditional sales channels in cooperation with Country Sales teams and market share development in professional solutions segment (programs such as WINS, etc.)
As part of execution of the Localization of Marketing Mix, Sales approaches and Products is responsible for:
• product system offer commercialisation (technically advanced product and solution, with high degree of technical marketing and user training and education)
• analysing and drawing business conclusions from marketing insight
• delivering marketing sales tools identification & ordering (Marketing Box);
• providing recommendations regarding a need for marketing research in the region
• provides coaching and support for the local teams on proper implementation of sales and marketing strategies and use of relevant tools
Carries out tasks in terms of product offer life cycle management, and in particular market introduction and product phase out
As regards Management of the sales project pipeline in order to deliver business results (in project sales, B2B business, is responsible for:
• delivering sales targets resulting from execution of the division’s strategy
• executing and adjusting pricing policy, drives pricing strategies and supports tactical pricing decisions
• lead generation and pipeline management (customer acquisition, development and retention)
• recommending solutions for sales incentive systems
• contributing to the Key Accounts relationship management
Recommending structures and resources for project implementation. Management & development of the Regional and/or Country Divisional Team
• Country BDM’s (relevant for Regional BDM)
• Technical Sales Representatives (Country BDM)
• Trainers (Country BDM)
• Dedicated Marketing Managers (Region or Country BDM)
Manages relations within the Matrix structure and builds alignment with Regional and Country Management
Core competencies
• senior (for Regional BDM) and Intermediate (for Country) level of business management expertise with sales and/or marketing background in technical, B2B industry in window & door segment or adjacent market segments
• has a very good knowledge of the business and market environment on an Regional and/or Country scale
• ability to predict market reactions, in particular in terms of assessment and use of business opportunities
• ability to create and implement business strategies
• can conduct projects concerning market and product development
• can carry out the process of commercialisation of innovative and technical products
• determines the activities that develop and support sales
• builds and manages the sales force
• can implement loyalty programs at the end user level
• has knowledge of P&L management, in particular in terms of execution of strategic goals and programmes and initiating corrective actions
• handles operating systems that support the business
• can use the PowerPoint at a proficient level and has presentation skills
Other expectations
• minimum 5 years’ experience in the same or a similar position with an international organisation in technical, B2B industry in window & door segment or adjacent market segments
• higher education: a degree in marketing, economics or management
• experience in cooperation in a complex international organisational structure in a multi-stakeholder environment
• knowledge of English is at least at the C1 level (speaking and writing)
• readiness to frequently travel on business (Country and/or Regionally)
• category B driving license
