Náplň práce, pravomoci a zodpovědnosti

 Perform daily and monthly price testing and market conformity checks ensuring timely delivery of results according to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
 Ensure complete coverage in terms of exposure all the time.
 Analyse, validate and document any material adjustments and communicate results with respect to the development of market parameters and exposures to a wider audience including senior management (IPV).
 Analyse, validate, document trades considered not in-line with market conditions and escalate identified breaches of tolerance levels to the management (MCC).
 Investigate irregularities in cooperation with colleagues, Front Office, Settlement, Risk Controlling and Finance
 Ensure completeness and compliance with procedures /policies of the related day to day processes
 Improve and streamline processes to increase efficiency and reduce risks
 Closely interact with your main stakeholders in Front Office, Risk, Product Control and other IPV/MCC teams and live up to our commitment for balancing controls and service
 Maintain related workflow and process descriptions/documentations

Expert knowledge:
 Basic knowledge of financial products (incl. derivatives) and their valuation required (Interest Rate, Fixed Income, Commodity)
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and (especially Excel and Access) required, knowledge of VBA and SQL is an advantage
 Knowledge about major market data providers (Reuters, Bloomberg, MarkIT)
 Knowledge about major risk and performance measurement methods

Personal skills:
 Good analytical and organisational skills
 Logical approach to issue resolution, able to break down a problem into its component parts, assess the available options to resolve and come up with a recommended solution
 Ability to deal with high priority conflicting/ dynamic deliverables within a challenging timescale
 Ability to judge when to continue unaided with investigation of an issue and when to ask for support
 Flexible mind-set, able to deal with deliverables and objectives changing at relatively short notice
 Critical thinking and change orientation, ability to analyse the processes critically and come up with solutions and improvements
 Courage to try and learn new things
Language skills:
 Good command of written and spoken English (English is an official language in our department)
