Software Development Engineer
Full-Time in Heilbronn, Germany

The MOLIT Institute combines the existing medical and IT expertise in Heilbronn with the aim of developing concepts for application-oriented personalized medicine and preventive health care. We focus on the development of innovative, tailored therapies for cancer and their rapid translation into the medical standard care.

YOUR TASKS

  • Development of RESTful backend components within the MOLIT framework in Java by using Spring Boot, FHIR and BPMN

YOUR QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience developing applications in Java and Spring Boot
  • Experience developing RESTful services
  • Experience in database communication (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Knowledge of common build tools (Maven, Gradle) and versioning (GIT)
  • Experience in medical interoperability standards (FHIR) and business process modeling (BPMN) preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English or German with employees in the company in both technical and non-technical roles
