OKIN Process is a leading company that provides business process services in the field of IT and telecommunications. We offer our clients a wide range of services, from administrative support to highly sophisticated solutions. These are being delivered by employees in three delivery centers in Ostrava, Prague, and San Antonio to our customers from both the European and global market.

We can also train new colleagues remotely, if needed, but in the long run we will need your regular presence at our Ostrava or Prague office. Therefore, we can support your possible relocation to Ostrava, Prague or their surroundings with a financial package that we have designed for such relocations.

We are currently looking for a Technical Lead to join our Ostrava team, with overlap from Tier I to Tier III.

A technical lead is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Guide their team through technical issues and challenges.
  • Provide a technical training in the team.
  • Coordinate Tier1 training requirements and identify any training gaps that may arise.
  • Active work with tickets, reviews of ticketing queue and prioritizing tickets must be related to the SLA performance. Ability to identify and track issues and suggest process optimization.
  • Guiding their team through technical issues and challenges.
  • Report important information regarding the ongoing and currently involved activities of the Service Desk (e.g., crisis incidents, maintenance abnormalities) to Team Lead.
  • Analyses statistics on a regular basis, provide recommendations for improvement and development to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Have an overview of a managed customer’s environment.

Requirements & Skills

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of servers (LINUX/UNIX/Windows) and knowledge of hardware, network, applications, and services.
  • English language - excellent oral and written communication skills. (B2 – level)
  • Degree from a related area such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System etc. or adequate work experience.
  • Experience in the field of Tiered technical support organization.

Additional Qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of business tools such ticket systems and Change management systems. Be able to make decisions within area of responsibility.
  • Ability to adapt and accept challenges in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Be able to think, communicate and present information effectively.
  • Attention to detail and good analytical & solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to understand complex processes and technical environments.
  • ITIL certification v3/v4 Foundations in advantage but not necessary.
  • Be a team player, professional and positive.
