Channel Account Executive

We are currently looking for a Channel Account Executive for our client – a company that has been a stable part of Czech media market for over 10 years. Our client is a media sales agency that cooperates with more than 20 thematic TV channels in Czech Republic and in Central Europe and sells television and online advertising.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Cooperation and communication with represented TV Channels on a daily basis, whilst maintaining a good professional relationship with channels’ representatives
• Building a positive channel image and maintaining its good name on the market
• Building channel brand awareness on the market, especially in B2B – events, competitions, trade marketing etc.
• Strategic consulting towards channels as well as monitoring of the channel revenues, financial issues and regular reporting
• Use of detailed analysis and reports to help drive conclusions and insights into channels’ performance
• Support in troubleshooting of clients’ issues and overseeing their resolution
• Channel contracts coordination, annual negotiations and preparation of annual channel budgets together with the team or managing director
• Close cooperation and cross-functional work with our Research and Booking & Traffic departments
• Full understanding of viewership data and ability to independently prepare a viewership report
• Continuous monitoring of the media market, development and news

Who are we looking for / personal profile:
• University degree with a concentration in media studies, advertising, marketing or communication is preferred, but not required
• Work experience on similar position or keen interest in the media field is an advantage
• Fluent English (spoken and written) with very good analytical, numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely by email, phone, and in person with a high degree of professionalism
• Strong familiarity and a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and especially great proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Outstanding organisational abilities and good communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks against deadlines and operate under pressure of time and stress
• Initiative personality with positive and active approach to looking for solutions
• Client oriented individual and decision maker with ability to take ownership of issues
• Active interest in media market or advertising
