Sligro is a dutch leader in food-service wholesale.
To help through the new season’s demands, the company is searching for expedition staff, to help with customers’orders and loading products to trucks.
Working at Sligro, as an expedition member, you will have the following responsibilities:
Quantify and quality control of collected products;
Sort, place on route and scan the (fresh) products that came in at night, moving roll containers to loading location;
Identify possible deviations and taking the correct follow-up actions;
Transfer valuable orders to the driver using a pocket computer.
This department works with tight deadlines to ensure that orders are ready for shipment on time. 3-shifts working schedule (day/evening/night). Workers must be flexible to work overtime, if necessary.
Company provides work training and a Staff Buddy, to guide workers on their daily tasks.
A well-equipped canteen, with low-cost lunch or a free drinks (coffee/tea)/outside smoking area are also advantages to work at this company.
Warehouses have different temperatures, according to each department where food products are located. In most locations, the working environment is +18ºC, comfortably warm. Fresh food products are located in places of +4ºC and you must be ready to work at low temperatures.
Full-time and long term job offer, in a excellent working environment.

Personality requirements and skills
CV in English is required, before arrival, for safety measures during COVID-19 period. CV must have correct e-mail & phone number plus correct home country address for health insurance purposes.
Warehouse experience working in Logistics, specially in cooler departments, is an advantage;
Flexibility to work in different working shifts;
Healthy and Ready to face cooler temperatures and work in fridge areas +4ºC;
Team player and able to work independently in a fast-pace with minimum error rate;
1 in 2 people should have a valid driver's license - category B;
To be ready to stay in the Netherlands at least 1 year.
