Senior Electrical Engineer

GENERAL TASKS:
• oversight and review of the detail design documentation produced by third companies, such as:
o Technical Reports and functional specifications;
o Electrical functional and schematic diagrams;
o Wiring and interconnecting diagrams;
o One-line diagrams;
o Cables routing;
• Development of electrical project documentation as wiring diagrams, cable lists, cables routing;
• Cable quantities monitoring and control;
• Interface with the Customer and Suppliers of materials and services for all the technical aspects related to electrical system;
• Continually ensuring the detail design of electrical systems is in keeping with project requirements, current legislation, local and international Standards and Codes of Practice.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• Knowledge of Electrical and I&C architectures and systems;
• Knowledge of main electrical equipment and instrumentations for industrial (power plant, oil and gas) installations, Nuclear power plant will be considered a plus.
• Skills in identifying and checking detailed design field engineering solution on power, instrumentation and control cables and interconnection schemes;
• Segregation and separation criteria for different type of cables;
• Main concepts of Electro Magnetic Compability (EMC), grounding, bonding, shielding;
• Main international Standards (IEC, EN, IEEE) related to electrical system and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
• University degree within technical field of study, Faculty of Electrical Engineering preferred;
• At least 7 years relevant experience in the Electrical detailed design of a complex project;
• Previous experience in the Engineering department of a relevant Engineering & Construction company;
• Past experiences in “Nuclear Plant Design” will be considered a plus; VVER plant design knowledge will be preferred;
• Good knowledge of English language;
• Good communication skills;
• Problem solving attitude;
• Independence with team work capabilities;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
• Knowledge of Microsoft AutoCAD.
