For our Software Test Team within Corporate Technology we are looking for a skilled Scrum Master and LabVIEW Developer to join our dedicated Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) turbine simulator team.

The team consists of six highly skilled LabVIEW developers all located in Brande, Denmark and are part of a larger SW Test Environment section with 40 skilled people in both Denmark, India and Spain.

In the SW Test Environment team, we are responsible for; the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of test environments in which automated tests are executed. This involves both HIL setups and small to large virtual environments, thus handling both the hard real-time and large scalability requirements. Furthermore, we operate two data centers and two test labs.
The introduction of Continuous Delivery is a strategic goal of the department; our team has been given the responsibility of introducing it.

What are my responsibilities?
You will be a part of our R&D team who is responsible for our Turbine Hardware Simulator used to test our Turbine Control Software. You will be in a dual-purpose role as both Scrum Master and LabVIEW developer.

As Scrum Master you will be responsible for agile principles within the team and facilitate an environment where the team can excel. You will also experience a strong project focus where you are responsible for:
• Daily Standup/Scrum meetings.
• Alignment with stakeholders.
• Load & Capacity planning.
• Coordination & planning with turbine projects.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

Personality requirements and skills

Together with the rest of the team you maintain, develop and evolve our test framework and simulation models based on LabVIEW, and thereby ensuring higher quality levels of our software. Furthermore, there will be electrical run-in of new Turbine Simulators, software test including unit, component and integration testing and sparring with other engineers within Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy.

About you:

You have an academic degree in Computer Science, Electric Engineering or similar but your passion and experience with Agile principles, LabVIEW and the NI platform are paramount.

You are organized and have a strong interest in project management and experience in applying agile software development practices.

You have experience and a wide understanding of software development in general and in LabVIEW. Additionally, you are not afraid to be “hands-on” and debug with an oscilloscope if needed and you possess some hardware knowledge.

You are motivated by automation and development, quality minded, structured and capable of working with large complex systems.

You have excellent communication and people skills and excellent English verbal and written language skills; a basic understanding of Danish is advantageous.
