DESCRIPTION
An opportunity for an experienced VAT professional to work in Amazon's pan EU VAT advisory team. Primarily focusing on VAT issues in Turkey, but will also support on VAT advisory work across EU and EMEA. The role will be based in Amazon's tax team in Bratislava, but there will be regular travel to London, Luxembourg and Turkey.

At least 5 years experience in global accounting, consulting or legal firm. Alternatively 5 years in the in-house VAT team of a global blue chip business. Experience of Turkish VAT legislation and practice is essential as is the ability to work in the Turkish language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Recognised tax qualification such as CTA/ADIT or similar or a relevant law degree.
